Becoming a host family is a commitment, but you do not have to make a decision right away. Perhaps you would first like to know what it involves, which students are eligible, how long a stay typically lasts, or what is expected of a host family in practical terms.

AFS Low Lands supports families and students throughout the entire process and will discuss with prospective host families what might be possible. An initial conversation is completely non-binding.

What do you get in return?

Being a host family is about more than providing a room. You give a young musician the opportunity to study in Brussels while discovering another culture and way of life yourself. As a host family, you will also receive free access to exclusive KCB concerts and activities.
