Would you like to study Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB, the Flemish Conservatoire located in Brussels)? Join us on our online info day on Saturday the 16th of March. From 10h00 till 12h30 and from 14u00 till 16h30 you can talk to our professors, students and administrative staff. This will allow you to discover all about our Music programme.

What to expect

  • Engage with our faculty and students.
  • Ask all your questions about our Music programme and studying at KCB. 
  • Find out everything about the programme: admission tests, subjects, professors,....
  • Talk to our student administration, tutors and BRIK about studying easily in Brussels.

How to participate

  • Online info day via Microsoft Teams. 
  • 2 info sessions: same content, different time.
  • Free access in each info session.

  • Session 1: 10:00 to 12:30 (time zone UTC +1)
  • Session 2: 14:00 to 16:30 (time zone UTC +1

Session 1 

10:00 - 10:30 Video interview with current Music student(s). They will tell you all about studying at KCB.
10:30 - 11:00 Video conversation with Head of Music: Peter Swinnen. He gives you a perfect global picture of the Bachelor and Master Music study programme.
11:00-12:00

Different rooms with heads of domain of the Music department. What can you expect from:​​​​​​

  • Orchestral instruments (Woodwind, Brass, Percussion / Harp, High & Low Strings)
  • Polyphonic instruments / Vocals
  • Writing / Composition / Conducting / Applied Harmony
  • Surrounding subjects (Cultural subjects & AMV)
  • Jazz
  • HIPP (Historical Instruments)
12:00-12:30

Study in Brussels:

  • Student Administration
    • Questions about enrolment, visas, payments, diplomas, rooms, instrument rental,...
  • Brik: studying in Brussels, rooming, mobility,...

Session 2

14:00-14:30 Video interview with current Music student(s). They will tell you all about studying at KCB.
