World-Building: Story, Ecosystem and Legacy. | Lecture by Matthew Denman

Based in Oklahoma City, Matthew Denman is Associate Professor of Guitar at Oklahoma City University and Founder and Executive Director of the Leyenda Foundation.

His work brings together performance, education and artistic development through an artist-first record label, international guitar institutes, flamenco dance programming and Leyenda Spark, a free youth outreach initiative for young guitarists across Oklahoma.

A recipient of the GFA/Augustine Award for Excellence in Guitar Education, he previously served as Director of Education for the Guitar Foundation of America. As a performer and teacher, he has appeared across the United States, Europe and China.
