Study abroad at KCB
Information for Erasmus+ and International Exchange Students
If you wish to study at our Conservatoire as an Erasmus+ or Exchange student, you can apply via the online form that will be available here from 15 February 2026.
Please take the following into account.
Important notes
- This application link is only for Erasmus+ and International Exchange Students. If you want to apply as a regular student, please visit our enrolment page: Enrolment and Admission Tests.
- We aim to communicate the application results within six weeks after the deadline.
- The Erasmus code of our institution is B BRUSSEL46.
- Our Erasmus+ coordinator is Helmut De Backer. You can contact him at: helmut.de.backer@ehb.be.
- The application deadline is 30 April 2026, for the first semester, second semester, and the full academic year.
What you need before starting your application
Please read the instructions carefully and make sure you have the following information and files ready to upload.
1. Video recordings (YouTube link)
Upload a YouTube link with your performance recordings.
Requirements:
- No cuts inside the pieces, only between pieces or movements.
- No specific repertoire required.
- Choose pieces that represent you well as a musician.
2. Instrument and study level
Indicate your study level during the exchange period (BA2, BA3, MA1, MA2).
At KCB we have a three year Bachelor programme.
If you would like to apply as BA4, please contact your home coordinator to discuss the possibilities.
3. Main instrument professor preference (optional)
If you already have a professor in mind, you may mention this in the application form.

4. Nomination from your home institution
Provide the name and email address of your home institution’s international coordinator, as well as an uploaded signed nomination confirmation.
Learning agreement and courses
You do not need to submit a learning agreement at this stage.
A learning agreement will be created after you are admitted.

If you are applying for one semester only, the number of credits listed in the programme tables will be divided by two.
