Today, the association remains actively involved, primarily as a platform for dialogue between the individuals and institutions concerned, and as a fundraising vehicle for the restoration project launched in 2024. Its commitment extends beyond restoration alone: acting as a bridge between the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, Conservamus also supports the development of the Conservamus Symphony Orchestra, a joint student orchestra.
Musical instruments receive particular attention. Building an instrument collection for students of both conservatories is a key priority. In addition, new opportunities are being created for young musicians through an ambitious concert series. In the run-up to the Queen Elisabeth Competition for cello in May 2025, Conservamus is establishing a Cello Chair, including masterclasses and a concert by the internationally renowned cellist Gary Hoffman. Many other initiatives will be presented in the near future.
Conservamus aims to grow into an inspiring and unifying platform across the entire conservatory site, not only with an eye to the future, but also as a driving force today. A place where culture, education and creativity meet: a true cultural hub in the heart of Brussels. Finally, the association is undertaking a complete rebranding, with a clear identity and strong visual presence, to reinforce its leading role as a culturally, pedagogically and artistically driven organisation.
All of this is made possible by our members and donors. Partners who join today help shape the cultural landscape of tomorrow. Together, we are restoring the Conservatory as a place alive with creativity, vitality and promise.
