CONSERVAMUS SYMFONIEORKEST

Two years ago, the non-profit organization Conservamus launched an ambitious musical adventure: the creation of the Conservamus Symphony Orchestra. This unique ensemble serves as an inspiring bridge between the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, bringing together exceptional young talents from both institutions on one stage.

After two highly successful editions, the orchestra shines this year under the passionate direction of internationally acclaimed conductor Nicolás Pasquet (Uruguay). On the program: Richard Strauss’s monumental Alpensinfonie, a breathtaking symphonic journey through the Alps filled with grandeur, drama, and vivid evocations of nature, alongside Maurice Ravel’s dazzling Daphnis et Chloé Suite No. 2, a masterpiece sparkling with color, lyricism, and French elegance.

Since 2024, Nicolás Pasquet has been a professor at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He leads the Conservamus Symphony Orchestra with his hallmark combination of precision, passion, and poetic musicality.

The Conservamus Symphony Orchestra promises an evening filled with energy, refinement, and the pure power of orchestral music at its finest.

AN ORGANISATION OF THE NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION CONSERVAMUS

Since 2007, Conservamus has been fully committed to safeguarding the future of the Conservatory site. Our dedication to heritage and young talent has already produced tangible results: from awareness campaigns and in-depth feasibility studies to establishing a solid legal and institutional framework for restoration. Thanks to these efforts, the most endangered elements of the site have already been saved: the historic exterior woodwork once again shines in all its splendor.

Today, Conservamus plays a key role as the driving connector between all partners working together to revive the Conservatory. Our focus extends far beyond the renovation works underway: Conservamus is actively contributing to a vibrant future for the entire Regentschapsstraat district. The ambition is bold and clear: to establish an inspiring cultural hub in the heart of Brussels, where talented young musicians can grow, explore, and excel.

This future takes shape through vision, courage, and support. That is why Conservamus is committed to making a meaningful financial contribution to the restoration and redevelopment efforts. Our members and donors make this impact possible. Partners who join us today help shape the cultural landscape of tomorrow.

Together, we will transform the Conservatory into a place bursting with life, creation, and opportunity for the next generation.
