“My own idea is that music is so vast that it is capable of embracing the entire universe” 

Béla Bartók, who passed away eighty years ago, is remembered in 2025. His statue in Brussels stands as a reminder of that enduring presence. The KCB Symphony Orchestra presents his monumental Concerto for Orchestra, alongside Kodály’s fairy-tale Háry János Suite and Liszt’s sparkling First Piano Concerto. All three works breathe the spirit of Hungarian folk music with its irresistible rhythms and colours. For this concert, the students join forces with Christian Arming, an internationally acclaimed conductor and Artistic Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège from 2011 to 2019.

Which ticket should I book (€0 / €10 / €20)?

For whom is it €0?
This event is free for children under the age of 12 years old. It is also free for employees and students of KCB, CrB, RITCS and EhB, they may bring a second person of their choice for free to introduce them to our wonderful institution. Be sure to bring the adequate proof of identity.

For whom is it €10?
We offer a discounted of €10 for seniors (+65), students from other institutions and groups of 10 or more. Be sure to bring the adequate proof of identity.

For whom is it €20?
All persons outside the categories mentioned above, will have to book a ticket at the price of €20.
