More than ever, the challenges of the past year
teach us that when certainties fall away, we regain sight of what really counts.
Health, friends, affection, togetherness, sociability.
Much of that we have been missing. But just as in music a rest is never empty but full of attention for what is to
come,
so this past year can be a prelude to a new beginning.
Full of new ideas, full of new courage and above all full of music.
“Donde música hubiere, cosa mala no existiere.” (Cervantes)
Where there is music there can be nothing bad.
In the name of the entire conservatoire community,
I wish you all a warm Christmas and a happy New Year.
