We are pleased to present this concert by the second-year arrangement class led by our jazz arrangement teacher Thomas Mayade. It marks the culmination of our students' journey. After two years of work, research, writing, and collaboration, this project is their final work and demonstrates their creativity and musical development.

Throughout this program, you will discover original arrangements that reflect the diversity of the worlds, influences, and personalities that make up this class. Each piece will be performed by a nonet composed of five wind instruments and a rhythm section.

For this special occasion, we are honored to welcome trombonist Nathan Surquin as our guest. His presence enriches this concert and offers students a valuable opportunity to collaborate with a professional musician, adding an extra dimension to their arrangements. He will be accompanied by musicians from the Conservatory's jazz class.

Come and join the party!
