Speaking Music

During this interactive workshop, preceding the concert, students will be confronted with the genius of Haydn, who – with the ‘Seven Last Words Jesu Christi’ as a starting point – wrote a deeply moving and extremely eloquent music, without using a word. Special attention will also be paid in this workshop to the expressive possibilities of the pianoforte and their possible translation into the idiom of the modern piano.
